La Boca del Lobo – Award
Alma won Best National Animation in Spain’s Festival La Boca del Lobo yesterday. We couldn’t be there but Daniel Peixe, one of our great animators received the award.
Alma en Granada
Por fin llega a Granada. Alma will be playing at the Festival de Jovenes Realizadores in my hometown. I remember going to many screenings in this festival while growing up, JPJeunet shorts, Plympton’s Your face…it’s great to see that it’s our turrn to show something ourselves. You can watch it tomorrow…

XX Semana de Cine Fantastico y de Terror
If you are in San Sebastian, go to the 20th Semana del Cine Fantastico y de Terror next week. While making the short we always wanted to show it at this Festival so we are happy to say that Alma will be in the Big screen these dates:
November 4th, 17.00 at the Teatro Principal during the Film Labur Espaniarrak (Cortometrajes españoles).
November 5th, 19:45 at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia during the compilation Film Laburren Lehiaketa (Cortometrajes a concurso)

Just recovering from the visit to Austin and Sitges last week, two really fun festivals were we showed Alma. I leave you with a link to an article in Variety that mentions Alma.
I took this self-explanatory photos in Austin, TX. Thanks to Tim League, founder of Fantastic Fest, we were able to visit Smitty’s Market, what he called the Cathedral of BBQ. Worth the trip.
