Our short teaser is featured in Aintitcool and Twitch along with some movies I am really looking forward to see this year, especially Hierro by Gabe Ibañez.

These boards are part of the animatic for the short and represent the shot you see in the teaser. It’s nice to see the evolution of the shot from boards to final render, especially because it means that you’ve finished it.

Many details change during the process but it’s important to keep the fresh feel and simplicity you get from storyboards. I will post a quicktime of the shot on boards later on, so you can see the difference with the final shot .

If you are in Los Angeles,  July 25th, the LA ShortsFest will have a screening of Alma. It’s a new pristine 35 mm print and 3D glasses are not required, old school, remember.
